Out of the Woods: Denim on Denim

For a girl who puts on jeans so rarely that when I do, people ask me what the occasion is, this outfit consists of a lot of denim for me in one day. I've been seeing the "denim on denim" look in a lot of magazines, fashion blogs, etc. and thought I'd give it a try. Oh, am I pushing spring/summer to come with this outfit you ask? Yes, but who wouldn't. The combat boots bring it back to Chicago's reality. I can't help but look forward to all of the things summer has to offer: night concerts at Lincoln Park Zoo, North Ave Beach, Trips to the dog beach off Lakeshore, long walks around the city, ice cream trips, The Fudge Pot, sitting outside at Tavern on Rush (or any restaurant for that matter), Boat rides in Michigan, etc. But in the time, I'll stick to rain boots, fleeces, gloomy looking days, and a very muddy German Shepherd puppy.
