Make up or no make up?

When it comes to make-up and skin products, I think it is safe to say that I've tried almost every single one in the books. I love watching make-up and skin tutorials (especially Chloe Morello's youTube channel-here.) However, as entertaining as it can be, sometimes, the most enjoyable way to wear your skin is completely bare. Nine times out of ten any little imperfection on your face will look better without make-up than it would trying to cover it up. When looking at these pictures try to decide which stars you think look better without make-up. Unfortunately, unless you have someone as honest as me as one of your best friends you may never know the truth of whether you look better with or without make up. BUT, there are some things you can do to make sure you kill it with or without. 

-If it's not broke don't fix it: Meaning, only correct what is actually wrong. You don't need to wear a full face of make up to hide a sleepless night (or two). You can simply put on under eye concealer, or splash your face with cold water and roll ice over your eyes to reduce any puffiness. This goes with spot concealing as well. Only dab a little powder or concealer on a specific area, leave the rest of your face alone...it did nothing wrong!

-Beauty sleep is real: There actually are things you could do to make yourself prettier while you sleep! Try sleeping on your back to avoid as much face to pillow friction as possible. Unless you wash your pillowcase every single night (which would also be a problem in itself) that type of contact can cause break outs and fine lines. Also sleep with a silk pillow case to reduce fine lines (which will eventually turn into wrinkles) from sleeping.

-Mask it: Every night is Halloween in my apartment. Don't worry, only for about 20-30 minutes at a time. The best feeling in the world is showering and taking your make up off after a long day.
